We offer free workshops on Git fundamentals, GoBD practice, and OSCAL/Policy-as-Code, establish and operate an online learning platform (Moodle), and organize the GitCover Conference annually.

The official order of the four purposes follows Section 52 (2) sentence 1 AO. All four are enshrined in our Articles of Association and recognized by the official notice of the Bad Homburg v. d. H. Tax Office dated May 27, 2026, pursuant to Section 60a (1) AO.
Science and Research
We operate our own R&D program focused on Git-based audit trail verification, OSCAL/OPA policy frameworks, and secure AI agent orchestration under compliance guardrails. We publish research findings under open licenses (Apache 2.0, CC-BY-SA 4.0).
Consumer Advice and Consumer Protection
We raise awareness about digital sovereignty and vendor lock-in risks, publish neutral comparative studies on open-source versus proprietary compliance solutions, and develop open tools without cloud dependency.
International Understanding
We cooperate with open-source communities, maintain translations (DE / EN / VI), and participate in international conferences. The GitCover Commons is a member of the Open WebUI Community and the Codeberg organization.
